My sister-in-law bought this skirt last year and I was so bummed when I found out it sold out so quickly. As soon as I saw it in stock this year I grabbed it right away. I love the scrunchy skirts, they are one size, knee length, and fit perfectly. This flag skirt is a scrunchy skirt as well so it is definitely one of my new favorites for the 4th Holiday. A baggy white tee or denim button up would look so cute with it. Such a fun skirt to be creative with!

Is it really Monday already?! Even my girls think the weekends are going by too fast. I love my job and look forward to it every single day, but man I have been loving these summer weekends! 

I realized that my closet was full of blouses but no causal tops for the weekends. I had a little shopping spree and now I have a few cute tops that are perfect. This is one of my new favorites- what's not to love about stripes and floral?!

Mama Bear

As soon as I saw this top I knew I needed it in my closet asap! When I had my little girls,  I had no idea how much responsibility I would feel for not just their safety and basic needs but also the responsibility I feel to protect their hearts.  

I have definitely become a Mama Bear to try and protect them from this crazy world.

T.G.I.F.-- Casual Professional

 Oh Happy Friday! After a work trip last week, that I still haven't recovered from, and my husband being out of town for work, me and the girls are SO ready for a relaxing weekend! We have plans to go to the zoo, splash park, and I may even attempt to mow the lawn. :)

I love wearing a more "casual professional" look once in a while. A flowy blouse and dress pants are my go-to for today. Hope your Friday is great and your weekend is even better!
