Happy Friday!

Oh I am so looking forward to the weekend with my little family. This week I haven't been able to spend much time at home and I can't wait to cuddle with my girls all weekend long!

Today I'm wearing one of my favorite blazers. It's from a few years back but I love the length of the sleeves and the feminine look to it. Whenever I wear this blazer, I pair it with tan/brown shoes and accessories to bring the look together.

Now if only the weather was warmer so I could switch my boots for heels....

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

The Pearl Necklace

I love a good statement necklace. One that is not too big, not too small and just the right color.
I have noticed myself gravitating lately to my (fake) pearl necklaces. I love the simple and classy look to them and how they go along great with almost any outfit.
This necklace is from Ishopsimply.com
and my others are from Forever21. I don't like to spend over $15 on jewelry so I love to find good deals. Even Walmart surprisingly carries some pretty cute necklaces.
I'd love to hear about your favorite places to find cute jewelry!

Tuesday Tip-Prints and Solids

Each week I want to share with you all a fashion tip for the work place. This week is all about prints and solids.

Tip #1: If you wear a skirt that has a print, it's usually a good idea to wear a solid top. If your top is a print, then wear a skirt that is a solid color. Of course there are exceptions, but this is a very good rule of thumb.

I think it's great to wear work attire that has some fun prints. Just be sure you don't wear too many prints in one outfit. It can be distracting and not as professional.

Now this is a tip for the workplace. When you are off for the night or it's the weekend, go ahead and mix prints. Mixing prints is not a fashion mistake,  I feel the workplace may just not be the right time to do it.

I always try to match my accessories with the printed item to tie the look altogether.

So grab your printed items, pair it with a solid and matching accessories and rock that look at work today.

I love Sundays. They are full of precious time with my little family and extra cuddle time with my girls.  Mondays are always a bit easier thanks to a good Sunday.
